If it's summertime, that means two things; blockbuster movies and the Harkins Summer Movie Fun program for kids. For more than 35 years, Harkins Theatres has brought back some of Hollywood's best family films to keep kids entertained and cool during the summer. Kids can enjoy a movie a week for 10 weeks, for less than $1 per film. Make Harkins Summer Movie Fun for kids an annual tradition for your family. All adults must be accompanied by children.

Order forms are due March 9th. We cannot accept late forms. 

Hello Sky View Families!

There are a few upcoming PTSO events we would like to make sure you are aware of:

PTSO Meeting: Tuesday, February 2nd 6:00 pm in the Library. Please join us as we discuss last month's fundraising numbers, updates from different groups on campus and upcoming events. All members of the Sky View community are invited. There will be door prize drawings as well as refreshments.

Father-Daughter Dance, "Some Enchanted Evening": Friday, February 5th 6-8pm. This annual event is sure to be fun! Dust off those dancing shoes and dress to impress! Tickets are $20 per pair, $5 for additional guests and will include: dinner, dessert, dancing and a 4x6 memory photo. Tickets can be purchased online at skyviewptso.com or at the door.

Box Tops Collection: Start gathering those Box Tops and Labels for Education! Collection flyers will go home next week for our second Box Top Collection contest of the year. There will be prizes for the winning classes. Who can beat Mrs. Wheeler's 5th grade class?? We raised $450 last contest!

Hello Sky View Elementary Families!

It's Fun Run Time.COM!!! We kicked off of the Fun Run Fundraiser for Sky View PTSO at an assembly yesterday afternoon! The FundRunner Team will be taking our students on FundRunner Adventures over the next week and a half. Inside these adventures, the students will learn leadership skills and character traits that will help them in the classroom and out. The FundRunner Team will also help our school raise money for:

Funds raised will go towards a new Water Bottle Filling Fountain and school based materials.

Remember, the more money we raise the more money our school keeps!

Your student will be coming home with their Pledge Form today!

You can turn in pledges two ways:

Go to FunRunTime.com and enter your child's access code found on the front of his/her pledge form. You can record your sponsors on this page.

Or fill out sponsor information on the pledge form and turn it in daily, so your child can receive his/her prizes. They can turn in their pledge form daily, and it will be returned daily!

We are only collecting pledges right now; the money will be due after the Fun Run.

The Box Tops contest has begun!

Every Box Top is Worth 10 cents for our school, and we can use that money to buy the things our school needs. You can help by clipping Box Tops and bringing them to school.

Class Contest Dates: Sept. 28 – Oct. 11

Yes. We do collect campbells soup lables too!

The kickoff assembly is on Wednesday, October 14. There will be a full week of games and challenges before the Fun Run on Friday, October 23. More information will be released shortly.

Individual student pictures will be held on September 29th. Information on purchasing picture packets will be handed out shortly by the front office staff.

*Picture Tip: Plan out your outfit! Don’t wake up on the morning of picture day and just grab whatever is clean! Plan a great outfit that matches your skin tone, hair color, eye color and really flatters your shape. Make sure that the pattern on your top doesn't have any writing on it and the pattern isn't too crazy. If the pattern is slightly too busy, then it will take all of the attention away from your gorgeous face. Solid colors are generally the best choice.
